Diane Peterson, Owner and Physical Therapist
Diane attended the University of South Dakota at Vermillion for her pre-physical therapy education. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center at Omaha.
She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Nebraska Physical Therapy Association, and the Geriatric Section of the APTA.
Diane has 29 years of experience in physical therapy. She is certified in the Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of back and neck pain. She has had training in Strain-Counterstrain, a soft tissue technique for pain relief. She is also highly qualified in working with orthopedic problems such as knee replacement, rotator cuffs, hip and ankle injuries and other injuries.
Brooks Boyer, Physical Therapist Assistant
Brooks received his Associate of Applied Science Degree through the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE. Upon graduation Brooks has developed his skill as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Peterson Therapy Services in Wayne, NE. Brooks also assisted the Director of Northeast Community College Physical Therapy Assistant program as a lab assistant for the Neurological Rehabilitation course. He has a special interest in patients with neurological conditions and who have sustained orthopedic and sports injuries in an outpatient setting.
Brooks is a member of the Nebraska Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association. Prior to pursuing a career in physical therapy Brooks worked as a Paraprofessional and Life Skills Instructor to children and adults with special needs and developmental disabilities. He currently is a group exercise instructor and coaches a Mixed Martial Arts program. He formerly taught Tae Bo® group exercise classes and traditional martial arts classes; Hapkido and Gumdo.
Brooks is a husband and father of five children with whom he enjoys spending the majority of his free time. In his spare time he enjoys participating in cardiovascular fitness, coaching and competing in mixed martial arts competitions.
